May 2009
On May 8, 2009, the Model Student Handbook was updated to include—for the first time—Spanish versions of the editable text.
March 2009
The Model Student Handbook is provided annually to school districts as an aid toward the development of local student handbooks. Policy Service member school districts can expect to receive an e-mail each spring explaining how to retrieve the Model Student Handbook online.
An e-mail announcing the 2009–2010 edition of the Model Student Handbook was sent March 20 to superintendents, superintendents' secretaries, and policy contacts—district employees with these roles can retrieve the Model through myTASB. Campus administrators should contact their superintendents to get a copy of the latest Model.
