Member Surveys

Help TASB be the best possible resource for Texas school districts. The 2010 member survey is now online, so take a moment to tell us how we can better meet the needs of our members and the districts they serve. The deadline has been extended until February 20.

 

Secretary
Conference

February 15 is the registration deadline for the TASB Superintendent Secretary Training Conference in Austin. Topic experts will address legal matters, policy topics, personnel issues, and other need-to-know information. The conference will be held February 18-19 at TASB headquarters.

 

Registration Deadline Nears

Online registration is open until February 5 for the upcoming Winter Governance and Legal Seminar February 11-13 in Corpus Christi. Timely training will be offered for new and experienced board members, with up to 14.5 hours of continuing education credit available.

 

Loss Prevention Grants

Online applications are being accepted for the TASB Risk Management Fund loss prevention grant program. Grant monies help Fund members implement loss prevention and safety initiatives to reduce the potential for property losses and on-the-job injuries and raise awareness of safety issues.

The Region 16 grassroots meeting has been rescheduled for Thursday, February 25, 2010. Attendees, including those who registered for the January 28 meeting, must register by contacting Mary Trosper or Ray Cogburn with Region 16 ESC at 806.677.5075.

Registration is now open for all TASB Grassroots Meetings. You may view the schedule of grassroots meetings and click on the "Register Now" link under your region to register electronically.
