Qualifications & Characteristics
Qualifications highly desirable:
Master's Degree in Education, Business, Finance, public Administration or related field from an accredited college or university.
Minimum of seven years of successful administrative experience required, preferable at the K-12 Level. Incumbent should have demonstrated experience in the areas of Facilities, Technology, Food Services, Transportation and Police.
This position requires knowledge and experience in planning, implementation, and administration of large-scale operational functions. Employees in this position must have demonstrated experience in managing senior-level staff and complex departmental budgets. This position requires ability to use computer technology in administrative settings, excellent organizational ability, demonstrated oral and written communication skills, problem-solving and consensus-building expertise, and excellent human relations skills. The ability to delegate responsibilities effectively is of critical importance.
