Mike Rains
A former teacher, coach, and school trustee for 12 years, Mike Rains joined TASB in 1987 as a District Services consultant, calling on 139 districts in ESC regions 2, 3, 4, 15, and 20, and receiving his Accredited Advisor of Insurance (AAI) certification in March 1989. From 1989 through 1994, he was the director of the Texas Learning Technology Group (TLTG) Product Management Division, responsible for the manufacturing, marketing, sales, service, and end-user training of the TLTG Physical Science and Chemistry curricula. He also has served as director of the Technology Solutions and Facility Planning Divisions and assistant division director for the Risk Management Sales and Marketing Division. Rains is currently division director of Field Services.
