Joe Dan Lee served as superintendent in Georgetown, Pine Tree, and Redwater ISDs and is a former junior high principal and vocational agriculture instructor in Redwater ISD. He was the 1998 Region 8 Superintendent of the Year and a past chairman of the Bowie County Education Cooperative. He resides in Georgetown.
