Huneycutt Reappointed to Statewide Association Board

(AUSTIN) – The Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) has reappointed Fonda Huneycutt of Forestburg ISD to the TASB Risk Management Fund board of trustees.
Huneycutt was appointed to the Risk Management Fund Board in June 2006. She earned her bachelor’s degree at the University of North Texas, master’s degree at Texas A&M University, and doctorate from Texas Women’s University. Huneycutt, superintendent of Forestburg ISD, also serves Cooke County as a board member of the Texas Council of Women School Executives and Court Appointed Special Advocates. She also is a certified lay speaker for the North Texas Conference of the United Methodist Church.
The TASB Risk Management Fund is the largest provider of risk management coverage in the state of Texas. With over 1,100 members, the Fund provides coverage through its unemployment compensation, workers’ compensation, and property/casualty programs. Services range from loss prevention and free member training events to online resources.
