Naron is the current president of the Plainview ISD Board of Trustees. He is a graduate of Plainview High School and Texas Tech University with a degree in theatre and English. Wes currently teaches English, theatre, and Communication Applications for Cotton Center ISD.  Prior to teaching Mr. Naron  served for several years in the human resources field for Wal-Mart Logistics and later NTS Communications.He is former member of the Rotary and Lions Clubs, as well as past president of the Plainview Football Bulldog Booster Club and Plainview Band Boosters.

He is a member of the Plainview Civic Theatre and the West Texas Chapter for the American Society for Training and Development, serving as president in 2003. Naron also serves on the South Plains Association of Governments. Aside from all of that, his greatest joys are being a dad to four wonderful kids, a husband to the greatest wife in the world (Lee) and an active member in First Presbyterian Church Plainview, Texas.
