Sandy Hughey

A trustee since May 2000, Sandy Hughey is the secretary of the North East ISD Board. During her tenure on the board, she has served as president and vice-president. Hughey attended Lee High School in Houston and Sam Houston State University. She is employed doing accounting work on a part-time basis. She serves her community as director of the North East Educational Foundation, secretary of the Bexar County Coalition of School Boards, and member of the North East Council of PTAs. Hughey also is a proud 2002 graduate of Leadership TASB and a Master Trustee.
