Judy G. Needham

Region 11B

Needham was elected to the Fort Worth ISD Board in 1996 and has served as chair of the Technology Advisory Committee. Needham earned a bachelor’s degree in math and Spanish from the University of Texas at Austin. A fundraising consultant for United Way, she previously worked in development for Boys and Girls Clubs and was a restaurant owner.

She is active in community service, as board member of Mayfest, Inc., the Molyneaux Charitable Foundation, Lena Pope Home, Presbyterian Night Shelter, Historic Camp Bowie, Fort Worth Nature Center Conservancy, Fort Worth Garden Club, and the Vic Thompson Memorial Youth Scholarship Fund. She also is a member of the Mayor’s Task Force to end chronic homelessness. A library established for homeless school children at the Union Gospel Mission was named in her honor.
