Joe Pirtle

Joe Pirtle joined the TASB Board as a voting ex-officio member in October 2009. He has served as Board Chairman of the Region 12 Education Service Center Board of Directors since 1998. He obtained his B.S. degree from Texas State University-San Marcos and later received an M.A. from Baylor University in Waco. Pirtle previously served as President for the Texas School of Administrators (1992-93), President of the Belton Chamber of Commerce (1991), a member of United Way (1992), and a member of the Lions Club (1986).  He currently serves as President of the Belton Education Enrichment Foundation.
