Desiree Cornelius Fisher

Region 13B

Desiree Cornelius-Fisher was appointed to the TASB Board in January 2011. She has served on the Manor ISD Board since 1999 and has held the positions of president, vice-president, and secretary. A graduate of Leadership TASB and Leadership Austin, she earned a bachelor’s degree in behavioral sciences from Concordia University. Active in the Central Texas School Board Association, she is former vice-president of the Manor Education Foundation and was a key member of a negotiation team that worked with Samsung and the governor’s office to benefit the district.
